Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.28%

Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & PublishingIndustrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.28%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313), which rose 7.58% or 5.60 points to trade at 79.50 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) added 7.17% or 1.66 points to end at 24.80 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) was up 4.15% or 2.20 points to 55.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210), which lost 3.86% or 10.80 points to trade at 269.00 in late trade. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 3.85% or 0.02 points to end at 0.50 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) shed 3.63% or 2.20 points to 58.40.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 181 to 116 and 37 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.61% or 0.43 to $70.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.51% or 0.37 to hit $73.54 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.79 to trade at $2,641.29 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.90, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 108.04.
